Urban Energy Institute Symposium 2023

At this symposium, we will explore the future horizons in the urban energy transition, discussing the challenges and opportunities ahead. Experts from academia, policy, and industry partners will provide insights into the latest innovations and developments.

As we look towards the future, we must recognize that we face unprecedented challenges. The world is at a critical juncture in the fight to achieve a climate neutral world, and we need to take bold action now to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.

At the Urban Energy Institute, we have been at the forefront of this fight, developing innovative solutions through tireless research hours that look beyond tomorrow’s solutions and aim for a fully sustainable urban environment.

We have accomplished much in our mission to achieve climate goals and implementation, but we know much more work is needed. During the symposium we celebrate the groundbreaking achievements of TU Delft researchers and our partners in speeding up the energy transition.

Together, we will celebrate our collective accomplishments and chart a path towards a sustainable future.  By working together, we can create the necessary changes to ensure that we shoot for the moon and land among the stars.
